About the Role:
We are seeking a high-performing Sales or Marketing professional ready to step beyond traditional commercial roles and work directly with the Managing Director on strategic and cross-functional initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to transition into a strategy/operations leadership career track while leveraging your commercial experience.
You'll operate as a strategic executor, managing projects ranging from international warehousing and expansion planning to capability-building and product launches. You'll act as a force-multiplier to the MD-turning vision into execution through structured planning, stakeholder management, and hands-on delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Projects & Business Expansion:
- Lead high-priority projects such as international warehouse set-ups, market entry, new business models, and plant expansions.
- Build execution roadmaps aligned with business goals-define timelines, KPIs, and milestones.
Cross-Functional Execution:
- Collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, R&D, and HR to implement key initiatives.
- Align field insights from sales with company-wide strategic actions.
Research, Market Analysis & Business Planning:
- Analyze competitor landscapes, international market trends, and adjacent product categories (e.g., cabinetry, glass recycling).
- Build feasibility reports and business cases for new initiatives.
Process Design & Efficiency:
- Improve internal sales/ops processes, design SOPs, and reduce friction across functions.
- Build scalable systems to support faster growth.
Reviews, Dashboards & Leadership Support:
- Create monthly business review decks and dashboards for the MD.
- Track OKRs and initiative progress across commercial and operational verticals.
Capability Development:
- Help shape hiring and training plans aligned with strategic growth.
- Work closely with HR to onboard key leadership roles or field hires.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Experience & Background:
- 6-12 years in Sales, Business Development, Marketing, or Sales Strategy.
- Strong exposure to cross-functional collaboration, project ownership, or new market development.
- Experience in Quartz, Tiles, Ceramics, Building Materials, or Manufacturing preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related fields.
- MBA / PGDM from Tier-1 or Tier-2 B-Schools preferred (not mandatory if experience compensates).
