Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth:
- Develop and execute short-term and long-term sales strategies aligned with overall business objectives
- Own revenue targets, sales forecasts, and profitability goals across products, services, or regions
- Identify new business opportunities, markets, and channels to drive sustainable growth
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine sales approach
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage regional sales managers, area heads, and frontline sales teams
- Build a strong sales culture focused on performance, accountability, and customer-centricity
- Set clear KPIs, review performance regularly, and implement corrective actions where required
- Hire, train, and retain top sales talent
Business Development & Key Accounts:
- Drive strategic business development initiatives and enterprise-level client acquisitions
- Manage relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Lead high-value negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract closures
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and long-term account retention
Sales Operations & Reporting
- Establish robust sales processes, CRM usage, pipeline management, and reporting mechanisms
- Track sales metrics, conversion ratios, and productivity benchmarks
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and business reviews to senior management
- Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and regulatory norms
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing, Product, Finance, Operations, and Customer Success teams
- Align marketing campaigns and lead-generation initiatives with sales goals
- Provide market feedback to product teams for continuous improvement
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership, people management, and team-building capabilities
- Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Proven expertise in B2B / B2C sales (as applicable) and large deal closures
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Deep understanding of sales funnels, CRM systems, and performance analytics
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
