1. Executive Summary:
- The General Manager will lead the Singapore business unit in executing high-value energy projects and managing operational assets.
- You will be responsible for navigating the complexities of the Singapore Green Plan 2030, ensuring operational safety, and driving the transition to cleaner energy solutions while maintaining P&L targets.
2. Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Asset Management: Oversee the lifecycle of energy assets (e.g., solar farms, power plants, or storage facilities), ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.
- Regulatory & EMA Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for the Energy Market Authority (EMA) and other statutory boards to ensure compliance with the Electricity Act and Gas Act.
- Decarbonization Roadmap: Lead initiatives aligned with Singapores net-zero targets, including the integration of hydrogen, carbon capture, or solar-plus-storage technologies.
- HSE & Risk Management: Enforce world-class Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards. Ensure all operations meet the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act requirements.
- P&L & Commercial Strategy: Manage multi-million dollar O&M (Operations & Maintenance) budgets and lead negotiations for Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) or energy supply contracts.
- Supply Chain Resilience: Secure critical energy components and manage relationships with global OEMs and local contractors.
