Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Head-Business Development to lead the growth and market expansion of our Energy Storage Solutions (ESS) portfolio. This role will be responsible for defining long-term strategy, driving revenue growth, and building strong customer and stakeholder relationships.

This is a confidential leadership hiring with a high-growth organization in the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define and drive business development strategy and product roadmap for the next 3 to 5 years

- Enable the Sales team to achieve targets through leadership, planning, and cross-functional collaboration

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve processes, efficiency, and execution timelines

- Build and lead regional BD teams across multiple geographies

- Drive product positioning, branding, and promotional initiatives

- Coordinate with marketing/media teams for effective product communication and visibility

- Manage and grow relationships with key corporate and government clients

Qualifications & Experience:

- Engineering degree with MBA from a premier institute

- 20+ years of experience in Business Development

- Minimum 5 years of experience in Energy Storage Solutions (ESS)

- At least 5 years in a leadership role managing teams and driving business growth

- Strong exposure to strategic accounts, government business, and large deal management
