Job Title: Investment Associate

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 0-4 years

Type: Full-time

Reporting To: Chief Investment Officer

Education (one or more is a must): CA / CFA (level III cleared) / MBA (Finance) / Masters in Finance

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct detailed fundamental research on companies across sectors (both listed and private)

- Conduct deep dives into industries and markets to identify emerging trends and opportunities

- Assess competitive positioning, build investment thesis, identify key drivers of value, key risks, and business model sustainability

- Analyze company financials and key metrics to support investment recommendations

- Build and maintain detailed financial models for target and portfolio companies

- Perform valuation using DCF, relative valuation, and other relevant methodologies

- Prepare high-quality investment memos and presentations (Word & PowerPoint) for the Investment Committee

- Summarize complex data and research into clear, concise, and actionable insights

- Monitor portfolio companies and sectoral developments

Candidate Profile:

- Upto 4 years of relevant experience in equity research, investment banking, or corporate finance

- Proven experience in building financial models independently (case study may be part of the selection process)

- Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting, valuation, and corporate finance principles

- Excellent command over MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (advanced Excel skills preferred
