Compound (The Compound Way) is a dermatologist-founded D2C skincare brand building precision-actives for Indian skin. We launched in 2026 and are scaling rapidly on the back of a rare combination: genuine clinical rigour and a built-in, high-trust audience.

The brand is founded by Dr. Gurveen Garekar and Dr. Siddharth Garekar, practising dermatologists who have built a 1.1M-follower community over a decade. Our products are concern-driven rather than ingredient-led, formulated specifically for Indian skin (Fitzpatrick IIIV), and backed by instrument-verified, GCP-compliant clinical testing. We deliberately compete on evidence and formulation integrity rather than on the "percentage arms race" that defines much of the category.

We're early, small, and moving fast - which is exactly why this role exists. The founders are building the kind of category-defining, internationally-credible skincare brand that India hasn't produced yet, and the Founder's Office is where that gets executed.

Role Overview:

The Manager: Founder's Office (Strategy & Operations) will serve as a critical extension of the Founder's vision, driving strategic initiatives and ensuring operational excellence across the organization. This role involves working closely with the Founder and senior leadership team to translate high-level strategies into actionable plans, spearheading cross-functional projects, and solving complex business challenges. The individual will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's growth trajectory, enhancing operational efficiency, and directly impacting the successful execution of key business outcomes and product launches.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and execute strategic projects from conception to completion, collaborating with various functional heads to ensure alignment with organizational goals and timely delivery.

- Conduct in-depth business analysis, market research, and competitive intelligence to identify growth opportunities, inform strategic decisions, and optimize existing business models.

- Drive operational improvements across critical functions, including supply chain optimization, process re-engineering, and resource allocation to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

- Support the development and execution of online product roadmaps, working closely with product and engineering teams to define features, prioritize initiatives, and ensure a seamless user experience.

- Facilitate organizational development initiatives, including designing new structures, improving inter-departmental collaboration, and enhancing talent management strategies to support rapid scaling.

- Oversee specific aspects of product development lifecycle, from ideation and conceptualization to launch and post-launch analysis, ensuring market fit and business viability.

- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and financial models for the Founder and leadership team, providing data-backed insights for strategic planning and decision-making.

Required Skillset:

- Proven track record of 3-10 years in strategy, operations, business analysis, or product management roles, preferably within a fast-paced startup, consulting firm, or a Founder's Office environment.

- Demonstrated ability to conduct rigorous business analysis, synthesize complex data, and present actionable insights to senior leadership.

- Strong understanding of supply chain dynamics, with experience in optimizing logistics, inventory management, and vendor relationships.

- Experience in online product management or product development, including defining product requirements, managing roadmaps, and collaborating with engineering teams.

- Exceptional project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives concurrently and drive them to successful completion.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels and fostering cross-functional collaboration.

- A strategic thinker with a bias for action, comfortable operating in an ambiguous environment and adapting to evolving business needs.

- Located in Gurgaon/Gurugram, demonstrating readiness for an on-site work model.
