Ozi - City Head - Operations

About the Role:

The City Head - Operations will be responsible for leading, managing, and scaling all operational activities within the city. This includes overseeing day- to- day business operations, vendor & partner management, team leadership, process optimization, and ensuring strong customer experience. The role requires a hands- on, data- driven professional with strong execution skills and the ability to manage cross- functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage end- to- end city operations to ensure seamless service delivery.

- Monitor daily operational performance and drive process improvements.

- Ensure adherence to SOPs, compliance, and service standards.

- Support demand generation strategies and offline/online initiatives to achieve city revenue targets.

- Identify market opportunities, gaps, and local partnerships to scale the business.

- Manage and mentor on- ground operations teams (executives, coordinators, field staff, etc.)

- Ensure smooth coordination among internal teams (Sales, Growth, Category, Supply, etc.).

- Build and maintain strong relationships with local vendors, partners, and service providers.

- Negotiate contracts and ensure cost efficiency.

- Lead city- level initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and reduce escalations.

- Resolve operational bottlenecks and ensure high- quality service delivery.

Key Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.

- 4- 8 years of experience in Operations, City Management, or similar roles.

- Strong leadership, team- handling, and stakeholder management skills.

- Excellent problem- solving, communication, and execution abilities.

- Experience working in fast- paced, high- growth environments (e- commerce, hyperlocal, retail, logistics, etc. preferred).

- Data- driven mindset with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; knowledge of analytics tools is a plus.
