Description:
- Operational Support: Provide comprehensive operational support to ensure the effective execution of renewable energy projects, aligning with the companys strategic objectives.
- Coordination and Monitoring: Closely monitor project progress and coordinate with the corporate team to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration across all project stages.
- Project Supervision: Oversee the development and implementation of new renewable energy projects and Project Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Reporting to Senior Management: Report directly to senior management, delivering insights and updates on project status, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Strategic and Tactical Assistance: Assist in all strategic and tactical matters related to project development and implementation, contributing to decision-making processes and strategic planning.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with project execution and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration to drive successful project outcomes.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, regulatory bodies, and community representatives, to build support and facilitate project implementation
Knowledge:
- Renewable Energy Projects: In-depth knowledge and experience in managing the full cycle for implementation of renewable energy projects, from inception to commissioning, with a minimum capacity of 50 MW.
- Contractor Management: Experience in handling contractors and subcontractors, including overseeing their performance, ensuring adherence to project requirements, and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Right of Way (ROW) Issues: Familiarity with ROW issues related to land acquisition and permitting processes in the renewable energy sector.
- Government Policies and Regulations: Understanding of government policies, regulatory frameworks, and compliance requirements relevant to the power sector and renewable energy projects.
- Engineering and Construction: Basic knowledge of engineering principles and construction practices, particularly related to renewable energy project development and implementation.
