Job Description: Experience & background: - 4-6 years of related experience in Big 4 or industry - Chartered Accountant. Reporting Structure: - Position reports to Head - Global tax/Country Finance Head Role in brief: - This position responsible for filing all states & Federal tax returns and to clear outstanding backlog and ensure timely compliances of withholding tax payments/returns, VAT returns, PIS/COFINS, ISS, corporate tax return and all other prevailing tax regulation - Support ad hoc project in relation to tax division - Responsible in monthly tax closing & tax audits - Responsible to ensure timely submission of all tax reporting - Prepare all taxes reconciliation - Ensure proper documentations and filings for tax inquiries and audit. - Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations. - Support the monthly close process and year-end activities, ensuring accuracy of P&L and Balance Sheet especially for tax accounts. - Identify, mitigate tax risks and aim for zero tax penalty - Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices - Maintain tax balances on general ledger - Prepare all tax papers in regular basis and handle all information data requests Key factor: - Should be able to lead the role independently. - Work closely with overseas tax team, consultants and business teams. - Strong analytical and communication skills. - Self-motivated. - Stakeholder management.
