THE ROLE

The Overseas Admissions Counsellor will be responsible for interacting with students, communicating the benefits & features of admissions in multiple Universities across the globe. As a representative of multiple universities, she will guide potential students to the right set of foreign institutes they are eligible to apply for, basis their profiles. She will act as a mentor and a guide to a potential student during and after the student admission process.

The Overseas Admissions Counsellor will be responsible for qualifying incoming leads into prospects and maximising the number of admissions, while working in close coordination with the Management and Directors of the school.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Own the responsibility for the entire life-cycle of overseas admissions i.e. Counselling students, conversions, Coordination for Visa, Travel/ Accommodation assistance at the foreign location; and final joining to the college/ university.

- Interact with prospect students/ parents with regards to admissions to overseas colleges/ universities.

- Share suitable university options with students, and explain salient features of the education program & university involved.

- Guide and address questions regarding the Visa process, travel & accommodation details and cost involved.

- Maintain records of enquiring students / parents and follow-up with them periodically for conversion.

- Ensure target conversions are achieved in the given month/ quarter.

- Interact with internal teams, vendor partners & domestic/ foreign authorities to ensure seamless processing of Visa, Travel, Accommodation for students enrolling for overseas education.

- Maintain up-to-date information on foreign colleges/ universities from online sources & physical partners / collaborators. Keep an updated library of the college/ university brochures.

- Maintain healthy relationships with parents & prospective students in the post enrolment phase

- Create robust applicant tracking dashboards and mine and extract client database and generate management reports.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Experience & Education

- Any graduate + MBA/ PG Degree in Management

- 8+ years of experience as a Sales Leader

- Experience in the Luxury / Premium Sales

Behavioural Competencies

- Should possess a strong commercial bent of mind to own a specific target for admissions and achieve it.

- Be self-driven and able to motivate the team to maintain an optimum rate of conversion of enquiries.

- Should have assertive convincing skills to mentor and coach the students and their parents.

- Should have a pleasing personality and excellent communication skills.
