About the Role:
We're looking for a sharp, versatile generalist to join Oswaal Books and Learning Pvt Ltd Founder's Office, working directly with the CEO on strategy, cross-functional execution, and high-impact special projects. This is a high-ownership role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, moves with speed, and wants exposure to every aspect of a publishing company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Support: Partner with the CEO on business strategy, market research, competitive analysis, and key decision-making across functions.
- Cross-Functional Execution: Drive priority initiatives across hiring, operations, product, and growth, collaborating with team leads to ensure timely execution.
- Special Projects: Own high-impact initiatives that span multiple functions, from process optimization to new market exploration.
- Operational Excellence: Design and improve internal processes, reporting mechanisms, and operating rhythms as the company scales.
- Problem Solving: Identify business gaps, proactively recommend solutions, and execute with minimal supervision.
- Communication: Prepare presentations, reports, business reviews, and leadership updates for internal and external stakeholders.
- Project Management: Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, ensuring milestones, timelines, and deliverables are met.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: 0 - 1 years of experience in a fast-paced environment such as a startup, product management, or another high-impact role.
- Education: MBA from a premier business school (preferred), such as an IIM or an equivalent top-tier institution.
- Internship Experience: Prior internship experience with a product-based company is highly preferred.
- Versatility: Comfortable moving between strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with a willingness to take on responsibilities of any scale.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex problems into actionable recommendations.
- Ownership: A self-starter with a strong founder's mindset who takes initiative and drives projects from ideation to execution.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving ability with a data-driven and structured approach to decision-making.
- Adaptability: Thrives in dynamic, ambiguous environments and enjoys solving diverse business challenges.
