Brief Summary:
- The Area Business Manager for ORRA Fine Jewellery is responsible for overseeing sales operations, collaborating with store managers, and driving performance across multiple stores in a designated area.
- Key responsibilities include managing offers and schemes, analyzing sales reports, addressing stock fulfillment, and ensuring sales targets are met.
- The role requires experience in leading sales, strong analytical and communication skills, and a deep understanding of market and consumer trends in the jewelry industry.
Brief Job Description (just an indicative list and not limited to the following):
- Interact with Store Managers on a daily basis and oversee the cascade of new offers and schemes across all ORRA Fine Jewellery stores in the designated area.
- Collate daily and monthly sales reports from individual stores, ensuring accurate and timely submission to the management.
- Address stock fulfillment requirements for stores in the area, ensuring optimal inventory levels to meet customer demands.
- Review and track actual versus planned sales numbers, analyzing gaps in the achievement of sales targets.
- Seek approvals from RBMs for additional discounts and address queries that have escalated to their level, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining profitability.
- Review the conversion analysis reports and identify key reasons for non-conversion of walk-ins into sales.
- Conduct interviews for hiring individual contributors and team leads as required, ensuring the selection of qualified and competent candidates.
- Maintain a strong understanding of market and consumer trends in the jewelry industry, utilizing this knowledge to drive sales strategies and initiatives.
- Utilize experience in leading sales for an area in the retail or allied sectors, leveraging insights to optimize performance and enhance business growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to drive synergies and achieve business objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of Store Managers and their teams, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to enhance their effectiveness and meet sales goals.
- Stay updated with competitor activities, pricing, and promotions in the market, proposing competitive strategies to maintain ORRA Fine Jewellery's market position.
Desired Skills:
- Minimum 10 years of experience leading sales for an area in the retail or allied sectors, preferably in the jewelry industry.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to review and interpret sales data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with store managers, RBMs, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to make data-driven decisions and provide solutions to improve sales performance.
- Knowledge of market and consumer trends in the jewelry industry.
