Position Overview:

We are seeking a driven and analytical Assistant Key Account Manager / Key Account Manager Marketplace (Amazon) to strengthen our marketplace business and drive sustained growth on major e-commerce platforms, primarily Amazon.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end account management, P&L ownership, business planning, revenue growth, and optimizing online visibility and availability. This role requires strong analytical abilities, deep understanding of FMCG dynamics, excellent stakeholder management, and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketplace & Business Strategy:

- Develop and execute strategic business plans on Amazon and other marketplace platforms to drive growth, revenue, and profitability.

- Lead annual and monthly business planning, covering selection, pricing, margins, volumes/value, promotions, and terms of trade.

- Own and manage the P&L for assigned categories/channels, ensuring profitability and business sustainability.

Operational Management:

- Monitor product in-stock availability, supply health, and merchandising visibility across platforms.

- Manage day-to-day operations including inventory planning, listings optimization, pricing hygiene, promotion executions, and demand forecasting.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as supply chain, finance, marketing, and category teams to ensure seamless operations.

Performance Tracking & Analysis:

- Track, analyze, and report key account metrics including sales performance, traffic, conversions, ROI, and operational KPIs.

- Conduct competition benchmarking, market analysis, and pricing comparisons to identify opportunities and competitive gaps.

- Examine business models, evaluate ongoing performance, and recommend data-driven improvements.

Relationship & Stakeholder Management:

- Maintain strong working relationships with Amazon category teams and other marketplace partners.

- Gather, evaluate, and communicate marketplace feedback on product performance, service quality, promotional effectiveness, and technology.

- Ensure alignment with internal teams to execute channel plans effectively.

Continuous Improvement:

- Stay updated with industry trends, marketplace best practices, and new FMCG e-commerce innovations.

- Identify improvement opportunities in product portfolio, listings, promotional mechanics, and visibility strategies.

- Drive financial hygiene-ensuring claims reconciliation, return management, and maintaining operational accuracy.

Desired Skills & Experience:

- 5-6 years of experience in the FMCG industry, preferably in the foods category.

- Strong understanding of e-commerce marketplaces, especially Amazons ecosystem.

- High degree of ownership, proactive mindset, and ability to work independently.

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to make data-backed decisions.

- Sound understanding of category P&L levers and business financials.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Competitor analysis, demand forecasting, and channel management experience preferred.

- Hands-on experience with Marketplace tools, dashboards, or analytics platforms is a plus.
