1. Strategy & Business Development

- Define and execute the strategy for Capital Market Loan products (Loan against Shares, Bonds, Mutual Funds, Structured Lending, etc.).

- Drive revenue growth by identifying new opportunities within capital markets financing.

- Build scalable lending frameworks aligned with business goals and regulatory standards.

2. Product & Operations Management

- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of capital market loan products.

- Define product structures, pricing models, collateral requirements, and go-to-market strategies.

- Ensure smooth loan lifecycle management-origination, disbursement, monitoring, and closure.

3. Risk & Compliance

- Collaborate with risk and credit teams to define credit appraisal frameworks and risk mitigation strategies.

- Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements under IFSCA regulations, internal policies, external audits and other applicable frameworks.

- Implement robust governance and operational controls across loan operations.

4. Treasury & Capital Markets Expertise

- Leverage deep understanding of Currency Risk, Treasury, and Trade Finance to design financing solutions.

- Ensure optimal balance sheet management through effective capital allocation and hedging strategies.

- (Advantage) Apply knowledge of Commodity Finance and Financial Modelling in structuring innovative lending products.

5. Cross-Functional Leadership

- Work closely with Sales, Credit, Operations, Technology, and Legal teams for effective product delivery.

- Build and mentor high-performing teams to manage lending operations at scale.

- Drive adoption of technology-led solutions for automation, monitoring, and customer experience.

6. Performance & Stakeholder Management

- Monitor portfolio performance through KPIs such as loan book growth, yields, NPA levels, and customer satisfaction.

- Report to senior management, board members, and external stakeholders with transparency and strategic insights.

- Build partnerships with financial institutions, investors, and ecosystem players to expand market presence.
