
Description:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the governance of the IT project and program portfolio, ensuring value delivery and alignment with IT strategy, business objectives and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee IT financial and vendor management processes, including budgeting, forecasting, procurement alignment, and vendor and contract performance.
- Define and manage KPI and performance reporting processes, including dashboards, health checks, and investment tracking for IT performance and value delivery.
- Facilitate prioritization processes, supervise the PMO and delivery oversight, enabling project execution excellence and agile ways of working (including scaling and maturing Agile ways of working across Global IT).
- Facilitate IT steering committees and manage prioritization processes, support executive and business reviews.
- Identify and manage interdependencies, risks, and critical success factors across programs.
- Own and maintain IT policies, processes, standards, and quality compliance across the function.
- Support change enablement activities and manage communication initiatives in partnership with HR and Communications for IT led programs and transformations.
- Ensure integrated workforce and capacity planning, location strategy, tracking headcount, succession planning, role-based requirements and talent initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the Office of the CIO domain, implementing required tools and frameworks for service excellence and continuous improvement.
COMPLEXITY OF THE JOB:
- Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of Office of the CIO.
- Strategic Influence: Direct influence on IT Strategy, portfolio investment decisions, vendor selection, and IT delivery alignment with business strategy.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Procurement, People.
Services, Internal Communications and IT Business Partners.
- Decision-making Impact: Lead critical enterprise-level governance routines and decision forums.
- Geographical Scope: Multi-disciplinary and global team interactions across business groups and IT functions, requiring coordination across multiple time zones and cultures.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Academic Level: Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certifications: ITIL, PMP/PRINCE2, Change Management or Agile certifications are highly desirable.
- Languages: Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
- Minimum 10+ years in IT governance, PMO leadership, or Office of CIO roles.
- Experience managing IT portfolios, financial planning, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of IT strategy, IT operating models, metrics, and transformation programs.
- Proven leadership in global organizations or large-scale transformation.
- Experience managing relationships with vendors and service providers.
