Oracle Technical Project Manager - SCM, GOP, Order Fulfillment & Inventory
Location: Vadodara, Onsite (No hybrid or WFH).
Experience: 10-15+ years.
Need to work for 2-3 hours in night time from home if project work is there.
Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Project Manager to lead large-scale Oracle Supply Chain transformation and support initiatives across global business units. The ideal candidate combines strong functional knowledge of Oracle SCM with proven project management capability, stakeholder management, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional technology teams across Oracle EBS/Cloud SCM, Global Order Promising (GOP), Inventory, Order Management, and Warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Program & Project Management:
- Lead Oracle SCM initiatives end-to-end, from scoping, customer connect, execution and roll out.
- Own timelines, budgets, resourcing, risk mitigation, and executive/steering committee reporting.
- Coordinate onshore/offshore delivery teams to ensure on-time, on-quality delivery.
2. Oracle SCM & GOP Functional Leadership:
- Lead delivery across Order Management, Inventory, Purchasing, Shipping, and Global Order Promising (ATP/ATS, allocation, sourcing rules, shipping networks).
- Drive the full Order-to-Cash cycle: order capture, pricing, ATP/GOP promising, pick-pack-ship, invoicing, returns, and exception handling.
- Own inventory initiatives: accuracy, optimization, replenishment, cycle counting, and item master governance.
3. Business & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Finance, and IT leadership to improve fulfillment, OTIF, fill rate, and inventory turns.
- Coordinate with technical/integration teams across Boomi, OIC, Azure, Shopify, Salesforce, WMS, and TMS.
- Support KPI reporting and executive dashboards via Power BI / Oracle Analytics / Microsoft Fabric.
4. Governance:
- Ensure SDLC compliance, change control, release planning, and production support governance.
- Maintain RAID logs and documentation standards; conduct project health reviews.
5. People & Onshore/Offshore Management:
- Lead and mentor a distributed team of Oracle functional and technical resources, setting clear goals, conducting performance reviews, and supporting career development.
- Manage onshore/offshore delivery models: allocate work across time zones, run daily stand-ups/handoff calls, and maintain coverage continuity.
- Build capability within offshore teams through structured knowledge transfer, documentation, and upskilling plans.
- Resolve resourcing conflicts and manage capacity planning across concurrent onshore and offshore workstreams.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable team culture across geographically dispersed teams.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Oracle Applications: EBS SCM, Order Management, Inventory, GOP, Purchasing, Shipping, Warehouse Management.
- Project Management: Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, SAFe; PMP preferred; JIRA for backlog, sprint, and release tracking.
- People Leadership: Onshore/offshore team management, mentoring, performance management, resource and capacity planning.
- Functional Expertise: Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, inventory lifecycle, fulfillment networks, multi-org and global distribution structures.
- Integrations: Shopify, Salesforce, Blue Yonder WMS, OIC, Boomi, APIs, EDI, Azure Integration Services.
- Reporting & Analytics: SQL, Oracle BI, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric (preferred), KPI and executive dashboards.
Preferred Experience:
- Global, multi-country Oracle supply chain transformations.
- Retail, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, or Distribution industry background.
- Omnichannel and high-volume eCommerce fulfillment, inventory optimization, ERP modernization, and cloud migration programs.
Soft Skills:
- Executive stakeholder management and strong communication/presentation skills.
- Strategic thinking with hands-on execution; sound decision-making under ambiguity.
- Negotiation, vendor management, and the ability to influence without direct authority.
Preferred Certifications:
- Oracle SCM Cloud / EBS SCM Certification, PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist, APICS CSCP / CPIM.
