Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Fixed Assets (FA) Lead to drive the design, implementation, migration, and governance of the Oracle Fusion Fixed Assets module. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials, Fixed Assets accounting, asset lifecycle management, depreciation, capitalization processes, and financial controls.

This role will be responsible for leading Fixed Assets workstreams across implementation and transformation programs, ensuring seamless integration with General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Projects, and reporting platforms while maintaining compliance with audit, SOX, and corporate governance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Oracle Fusion Fixed Assets Configuration:

- Lead the end-to-end configuration of Oracle Fusion Fixed Assets modules.

- Configure corporate and tax asset books, depreciation methods, conventions, and accounting rules.

- Define and maintain asset categories, asset keys, locations, and asset hierarchies.

- Configure Construction-in-Progress (CIP) accounting and capitalization processes.

- Set up asset additions, transfers, retirements, reinstatements, impairments, and revaluations.

- Design Fixed Assets integration with General Ledger and Chart of Accounts structures.

- Configure AP-to-Assets capitalization workflows and automated asset creation processes.

Asset Register Migration & Data Conversion:

- Lead fixed asset register migration activities as part of ERP transformation programs.

- Manage legal entity asset allocation and opening balance migrations.

- Perform asset data cleansing, classification reviews, useful life validation, and NBV reconciliation.

- Design and prepare FBDI templates for asset data conversion.

- Execute mock conversions, reconciliation cycles, and final cutover migrations.

- Coordinate with business stakeholders, finance teams, and auditors to validate migrated asset records.

- Ensure migrated balances reconcile accurately with source systems and financial statements.

Depreciation, Close & Financial Reporting:

- Configure and validate depreciation calculations and accounting entries.

- Support month-end and year-end Fixed Assets close activities.

- Design and implement subledger-to-GL reconciliation processes.

- Develop asset roll-forward reports, depreciation schedules, and asset register reporting.

- Collaborate with finance teams to validate depreciation forecasts and run-rate expenses.

- Support reporting requirements across Oracle Fusion, BI Publisher, OTBI, and external reporting tools.

- Define and manage Fixed Assets data integration requirements for enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake.

Controls, Compliance & Audit Support:

- Design and implement SOX-compliant controls covering asset acquisition, capitalization, disposal, and impairment processes.

- Configure approval workflows and role-based access controls within Oracle Fusion.

- Establish audit-ready reconciliation procedures and documentation standards.

- Support internal and external audits by providing asset schedules, reconciliations, and supporting evidence.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, corporate policies, and governance requirements.

Reconciliation & Financial Governance:

- Design Fixed Assets reconciliation frameworks using BlackLine, FloQast, or similar platforms.

- Develop automated reconciliation processes for asset accounting and reporting.

- Ensure timely resolution of reconciliation breaks and accounting discrepancies.

- Partner with Finance, Controllership, and Audit teams to strengthen financial governance and reporting accuracy.

Stakeholder Management & Leadership:

- Act as the primary SME for Oracle Fusion Fixed Assets.

- Lead workshops, solution design sessions, and business process discussions.

- Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, IT, Projects, and external implementation partners.

- Mentor junior consultants and support knowledge transfer initiatives.

- Drive best practices and continuous process improvements across the Fixed Assets function.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.

- 6+ years of ERP implementation experience with significant exposure to Oracle Financials.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Fixed Assets implementations.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud Certification.

- Experience with multi-country or global Fixed Assets implementations.

- Exposure to Snowflake data integrations and enterprise reporting platforms.

- Prior experience supporting audit, compliance, and financial governance initiatives.
