Oracle Financial Functional Consultant

EDUCATION:

A Post Graduate degree or any equivalent Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce (M.Com / MBA Finance) or related field.

Candidates with relevant domain knowledge in Finance & Accounting are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Must have hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financial modules and/or Oracle Fusion Financials.

Should have been involved in at least one end-to-end/full-cycle implementation with working knowledge of the following modules:

- Accounts Payables (AP)

- Accounts Receivables (AR)

- General Ledger (GL)

- Fixed Assets (FA)

- Cash Management (CM)

- Expense Management & Financial Reporting

- Ability to understand, analyze, map, and document business processes and client requirements for both EBS and Fusion environments.

- Configure, implement, and support Oracle Financial modules as per business and project needs.

- Perform fit-gap analysis and prepare functional documentation such as BR100s, MD50s, functional design documents, and setup documents.

- Support data migration, integrations, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and cutover activities.

- Provide postgo-live support, troubleshoot functional issues, and ensure resolution within defined SLAs.

- Collaborate closely with technical teams for reports, customizations, extensions, integrations, and workflows (OTBI, BI Publisher, APIs, etc., where applicable).

- Prepare training materials, conduct end-user training, and support change management activities.

- Stay updated with Oracle Financials patches, quarterly updates, and new features across EBS and Fusion.

- Demonstrate a positive attitude, strong analytical skills, ownership mindset, and ability to work independently.

- Should be open to travel to client locations based on project requirements and business needs.
