Role Summary :

We are looking for a seasoned Oracle ASCP Functional consultant with 8- 9 years of hands-on Oracle EBS experience to join our support team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) and strong functional knowledge across Oracle EBS modules including Inventory, Order Management, Bills of Material, Work in Process, and Purchasing. This role requires a self-driven professional who can independently lead support activities, collaborate with business stakeholders, and drive issue resolution to closure.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Support Operations & Issue Management :

- Act as the functional lead for day-to-day Oracle ASCP support activities.

- Monitor ASCP plan runs, exceptions, and planning workbench outputs on a regular basis.

- Analyze and troubleshoot planning issues related to supply, demand, capacity, and exceptions.

- Perform root-cause analysis on production incidents and provide timely resolution.

- Manage and prioritize the support queue, ensuring SLA adherence.

- Coordinate with Oracle Support (SR management) for critical or complex issues.

2. Functional Leadership :

- Conduct daily standups, track open issues, and report status to project managers and stakeholders.

- Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on functional troubleshooting approaches.

- Review and approve functional specifications, test scripts, and solution documents.

3. Cross-Module Coordination :

- Work closely with business users and IT teams across Inventory, OM, BOM, WIP, and PO areas.

- Analyze cross-module data flows and dependencies that impact ASCP planning outputs.

- Coordinate configuration changes and patches across EBS modules with minimal business disruption.

4. Continuous Improvement & Documentation :

- Identify recurring issues and propose permanent fixes or process improvements.

- Maintain and update functional documentation, SOPs, and known-error databases.

- Conduct periodic health checks of ASCP setup and configurations.

- Participate in upgrade or patching assessments from a functional impact perspective.

Mandatory Skills & Experience :

1. Oracle ASCP (Primary) :

- Minimum 8+ years of dedicated Oracle ASCP functional experience.

- Must have hands-on experience across at least 34 full project lifecycles (implementation or support).

- Strong expertise in ASCP plan types: Constrained, Unconstrained.

- In-depth knowledge of: Planning setup organizations, items, sourcing rules, ATP, planning parameters; Supply and demand netting, pegging, dependent demand, and exception message analysis; Demand Management integration, forecast consumption, and safety stock planning; Plan launch, data collection (ODS), and plan review in the Planning Workbench; WO/PO/IRISO order release from ASCP; ASCP to supplier schedule integration; Working or understanding APCC and its integration with ASCP.

2. Oracle EBS Modules (Supporting) :

- Oracle Inventory (INV) : on-hand management, sub-inventories, locators, item setup, transactions.

- Oracle Order Management (OM) : order types, scheduling, ATP.

- Oracle Bills of Material (BOM) : BOM structures, routings, engineering change orders.

- Oracle Work in Process (WIP) : discrete manufacturing, job statuses, completions.

- Oracle Purchasing (PO) : requisitions, purchase orders, ASN.

3. Technical & Analytical Skills :

- Ability to write and understand SQL queries for data analysis and issue investigation.

- Familiarity with Oracle concurrent programs, request sets, and profile options.

- Experience using Oracle Support (My Oracle Support / MetaLink) for SR logging and resolution.

- Exposure to R12.2.x environments.

- Proficiency with MS Excel for planning data analysis and reporting.
