Job Summary
We are looking for a smart, hardworking Pricing Analyst with a strong data science and analytical background to support pricing strategy, revenue optimization, and business decision-making. This role requires hands-on experience in data analysis using Python and Excel , along with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable pricing insights.
The ideal candidate comes from a strong STEM or engineering background, has worked in analytics-driven environments, and demonstrates the maturity to communicate effectively with global stakeholders. Prior pricing experience is preferred, but candidates with strong data science exposure and relevant analytical experience will also be considered.
What You'll Do
- Perform pricing and margin analysis to support strategic pricing decisions.
- Use data science and analytical modeling to derive insights from large datasets that drive pricing strategy and revenue optimization.
- Build and maintain pricing, forecasting, and analytical models using Python and Excel.
- Support scenario analysis, sensitivity modeling, and ad-hoc pricing requests.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to align pricing insights with commercial objectives.
- Present data-driven pricing recommendations clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and proper documentation.
- Work extended hours aligned with London time zone and support time-sensitive pricing decisions.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3-5 years of experience as a Pricing Analyst or in pricing-focused analytics roles.
- Hands-on data science experience, including data analysis, modeling, and statistical techniques.
- Strong proficiency in Python (pandas, numpy, basic modeling).
- Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, analysis).
- Solid understanding of pricing concepts such as margins, discounting, elasticity basics, and unit economics.
- Experience working with large datasets and translating data into business insights.
- Ability to work 12 hours per day, aligned with UK (London) time zone.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex pricing and data insights clearly and confidently.
- Strong business acumen and structured problem-solving approach.
- Proactive, self-driven, and accountable mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment .
- Comfortable collaborating with global and senior stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Educational background from IIT (Delhi / Bombay / Madras) or other top-tier institutions (preferred).
- STEM / Engineering background preferred.
- Strong foundation in data science or analytics-heavy roles.
- Experience with reputed organizations such as TCS, Wipro, EY, or similar top-tier Indian firms.
- Prior experience at McKinsey or Bain is a plus.
