Title: AI Program Manager
Role Summary:
Own end-to-end delivery of enterprise AI platforms built for external clients, from foundational knowledge-data assets through component build, system integration, and a production pilot.
Serve as the single point of accountability across a cross-functional pod spanning data modelling, solution architecture, engineering, security, compliance, evaluation, and pre-sales.
Convert a phased delivery plan into a staffed, budgeted, milestone-tracked program executed inside a fixed engagement window.
Key Responsibilities:
Program ownership:
- Drive and track delivery from foundation build through integration and pilot go-live against a fixed timeline, reporting objective completion status per workstream.
Cross-functional coordination:
- Run the delivery cadence across data-domain modeling, architecture, engineering, integration, security and governance, evaluation, and solutions-engineering roles.
Program stewardship:
- Manage the engagement toward its committed scope, margin, and contractual milestones, and support the path from pilot to expanded or renewed engagement.
Risk management:
- Actively surface and manage the engagement's structural trade-offs, including data-boundary and third-party processing exposure, cost behaviour under volume growth, and scope integrity against use cases better served by a different architectural approach.
Executive reporting:
- Report delivery status, budget burn, risk posture, and pilot readiness to client and internal stakeholders on a fixed cadence.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years including technical execution, delivery management, and ownership of client-facing engagements.
- Working knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation, agent orchestration, prompt and context design, and model evaluation, sufficient to scope work and challenge engineering estimates.
- Demonstrated delivery of production enterprise systems involving machine learning or large language models; direct experience with agentic and retrieval-based systems is strongly preferred.
- Experience running multi-module programs with parallel tracks and objective milestone tracking against a fixed timeline.
- Strong stakeholder management across engineering, domain SMEs, security and compliance, and commercial teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience delivering into regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, insurance, technology, or similar).
- Experience in a professional services, consulting, or systems-integrator delivery model.
- Program management certification (PMP, SAFe, or equivalent).
