Role Description: Responsible for converting Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs), engaging CXOs of consumer brand companies, and onboarding global brands to Opptra's platform. This role reports directly to the CEO of Hardline Business, Opptra.
Location: Bengaluru
About Us: Opptra unlocks Asian expansion for consumer brands, with a focus on ecommerce and digital capabilities. Backed by Binny Bansal of Flipkart fame, Opptra is building a portfolio of category-aligned franchising businesses and powering these ventures with a consolidated supply chain and centrally developed technology.
Outcome OR 1-3 years vision
Short term:
- Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders (CXOs) in target consumer brand companies. Effective partnerships with Category team to define ICP. Engage with the marketing team to represent Opptra at events and develop strong partnerships.
- Convert a minimum of 50 MQLs into SQLs quarterly to engage pitch and convert them as Opptras franchise brands. .Onboard at least 10-15 global brands quarterly.
- Launch these enterprise level brands that will lead above 10 M ARR in three prominent regions (India , GCC, and SEA) across 3-4 categories.
Long Term: Establish and nurture long term relationships with key stakeholders (CXOs) in target consumer brand companies. Effective partnerships with category teams finetune and define ICP. Engage with the marketing team to represent Opptra at events and develop strong partnerships.
Experience & Skills Needed:
- 8-10 years of experience in business development, enterprise sales or GTM operations.
- Proven track record of converting leads into closed deals.
- Strong understanding of the consumer brand and e-commerce landscape.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
