OPPO - Team Lead - Sales & Distribution

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Team Lead to manage and optimize sales and distribution operations in the Erode region. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, a deep understanding of sales strategies, and the ability to drive performance across a field sales team. This role demands a hands-on approach in planning, executing, and monitoring sales campaigns, mentoring team members, and achieving defined KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of Sales Executives and Retail Officers in the assigned territory.

- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through effective field management and market analysis.

- Implement regional sales strategies aligned with overall business objectives.

- Monitor team performance using performance dashboards, and provide regular feedback, coaching, and support.

- Strengthen retail and distribution networks by identifying new business opportunities and ensuring optimal stock availability.

- Maintain strong communication with regional headquarters for seamless distribution coordination and reporting.

- Conduct regular market visits to ensure effective brand visibility, promotional activity execution, and customer satisfaction.

- Gather market intelligence and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and risks.

- Submit accurate and timely reports to the Area Sales Manager and senior leadership team.

- Ensure adherence to compliance standards, policies, and operational guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.

- 3-5 years of relevant experience in sales and distribution, preferably in the mobile, electronics, or FMCG sectors.

- Demonstrated ability in team leadership, target achievement, and channel management.

- Proficient in using sales CRMs, MS Excel, and business management tools.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and make quick business decisions.

- Proactive, self-driven, and capable of working under pressure with minimal supervision.

- Knowledge of the mobile phone market and IoT devices is a strong advantage.
