Operations Manager - Retail/FMCG/Omnichannel

Description:

Our client is looking for a strategic and execution-driven Senior Retail Operations Leader to own end-to-end retail operations across multi-location stores, warehousing, and logistics. The role is accountable for service levels, cost optimization, scalability, and operational governance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own end-to-end retail operations strategy, including stores, warehouses, and logistics.

- Drive OTIF, inventory turns, cost per unit, and service KPIs across the network.

- Lead vendor strategy including 3PLs, logistics partners, and service providers, delivering annual cost efficiencies.

- Design and deploy scalable SOPs, governance frameworks, and performance dashboards.

- Lead workforce planning, productivity optimization, and capability building across teams.

- Oversee retail expansions, store launches, omnichannel fulfillment, and peak planning.

- Champion digital transformation initiatives (WMS, TMS, ERP, automation).

- Act as the primary operations partner to senior leadership.

Candidate Profile:

- 8-15 years of experience in retail, FMCG, or omnichannel operations.

- Proven leadership in multi-location retail operations with P&L or cost ownership.

- Strong expertise in vendor negotiation, cost optimization, and performance management.

- Experience driving process standardization and digital enablement at scale.

- Strategic thinker with strong execution and people leadership skills.
