Work Location : Chennai   Salary : Up to 15 Lac(s)  Shift Timings : Rotational Shift (Pl call for complete details)  Reports to (list day to day Manager) : Service Delivery Lead - F&A (GBU)  Key Responsibilities :  Service Delivery:  Ensure critical balance sheet and P&L accounts are reviewed on a monthly basis and appropriate action taken on abnormal movements  Proactively implement controls on items having direct financial impact for the company. (Revenue recognition / Cost and revenue accruals)  Ensure all procedures in the Finance Managers Manual are adhered to and staffs are made aware of the procedures.  Ensure three backs up are available at all time for all activities performed in the team and it is tested once in two months.  Ensure all processes are performed as per the agreed terms in Service Level agreement - Timely & Accurate.  Ensure compliance to performance management framework.  Review reports on a day to day basis,initiate action as required.  Ensure end to end KPI's are set for all activities handled within the team and strive towards achieving the end goal of the process.  Adhere to established control mechanisms.  Identifying ad hoc customer requirements /exceptions and ensure that the requirements are fulfilled with a sense of urgency.  Ensure standard operating procedures and SLA's are maintained for all processes handled  Visual management systems as per process excellence standards are maintained Track and monitor other KPI's related to the process.  Conduct mock business continuity tests.  Monitor control dashboard elements on a weekly basis and drive improvements  Ensure backups are created for all activities handled within the team  Customer Satisfaction:  Adhere to systemic interaction procedures for customer engagement.  Schedule and participate in customer engagement and process review calls. Have a direct interaction with the CFO of the country (cluster).  Prepare and circulate minutes for the call. Prepare monthly reports relating to process performance.  Constantly engage with the customers in listening & understanding their requirements and ensure that they are met.  Track day to day customer appreciation/escalations. Analyse and execute action plans resulting from customer feedback.  Ensure voice of the customer is reflected in the day to day process. Receive perception scores from customers (where applicable), analyse and take action.  Maintain all relevant documentation;  Ensure relevant level 4 and level 5 SOP's are kept updated for all activities done.  Maintain and continuously update all relevant communication matrix within GSC and also client specific  Maintain adequate internal control for activities done  Ensure relevant tracking files are maintained to track the agreed SLA and KPI's with the stakeholder  Ensure visual management boards are updated regularly;  Process improvements  Have a continuous improvement mindset;identify improvement in day to day process  Eliminate waste, provide suggestions for automating processes to facilitate efficiency improvement  Identify areas of service delivery improvement; give recommendations to responsible parties to ensure qualitative improvement in the service delivery with a customer delight mindset.  Ensure best practice is shared among other teams  Identify areas of service delivery improvement towards relevant business partners, give recommendations to responsible parties, coordinate and implement to ensure continuous improvement in service delivery and ensuring customer delight  Employee engagement and development:  Lead and motivate the team towards achieving a common set of goals.  Constantly prioritize objectives to align with the overall organizational intent.  Facilitate creation of clear and transparent mechanism of staff performance management, including setting of performance objectives,  Monitor performance, provide feedback and evaluate the action plan on regular basis.  Conduct Performance appraisals and address development needs Identify and deploy the action items for competency  development and mentor team leads, team members for taking up higher responsibilities.  Motivate, Reward and recognize the high performers regularly.  Access the resource requirement and recruit right resources in right jobs. Initiate and participate in team events and resolve or escalate the conflicts and grievances as necessary.  Develop second in line for all critical areas.  Establish and appraise on staff personal critical success factors, address performance appraisals, recommend promotions,transfers, mentoring & coaching etc.  Stakeholder communication :  Regularly participate and take telecoms- with business partners  Respond to queries in a professional manner  Communicate with other teams  Others:  Ensure that all major risks are identified, documented and appropriately dealt with.  Actively participate in relevant business contingency testing. Support other departments during contingency procedures.  Minimum Requirements:  Education : UG - B.B.A - Management, B.Com- Commerce PG - M.Com - Commerce, MBA -Finance  Relevant Experience : 5-8 years of experience in Finance & Accounting with the last 3 years in leading others.  Business Understanding: Strong knowledge of finance and accounting  Technical Knowledge : MS Office, ERP knowledge  Behavioral Skills : Customer focus, Decision quality, Informing, Integrity and trust, Listening, Peer relationships, Priority setting, Problem solving, Drive for results
