Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Strategy & Leadership: Develop and implement the overall operations strategy to align with business goals, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
- Inventory Planning: Oversee the demand forecasting and inventory management processes to maintain optimal stock levels, reduce waste, and ensure products are always in stock.
- Procurement Management: Lead the procurement strategy, managing relationships with multiple vendors and ensuring cost-effective and timely sourcing of ingredients and materials.
- Third-Party Manufacturing Oversight: Coordinate with outsourced manufacturing partners to ensure production meets quality, volume, and timing requirements.
- Logistics & Warehousing: Manage third-party warehouses across multiple states, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and timely distribution of products.
- Order Fulfillment: Optimize order-to-delivery processes for online and offline retail partners, enhancing customer satisfaction through reliable and timely deliveries.
- Delivery Partner Management: Optimize and manage relationships with multiple delivery partners to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and reliable transportation of products.
- Process Optimization: Identify areas for operational improvement, implement best practices, and leverage technology to streamline workflows and reduce costs.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, mitigating operational risks and addressing any challenges proactively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within the food, FMCG, or any D2C industry.
- Demonstrated experience managing outsourced manufacturing, multi-vendor procurement, and multi-state warehousing.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and drive strategic decision-making.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to anticipating and addressing operational challenges.
- Proficiency in inventory management software, supply chain management tools, and logistics platforms.
