Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Professional to support and strengthen day-to-day operational activities across multiple functions. This role involves close coordination with operational teams, blue-collar workforce, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure smooth execution, compliance, and continuous improvement of business operations. The position plays a key role in driving efficiency, supporting strategic initiatives, and maintaining high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support senior leadership in managing and overseeing daily operational activities to ensure efficiency, productivity, and service quality across departments.
- Supervise and coordinate with on-ground operational teams, including drivers, maintenance personnel, supervisors, and other workforce members, ensuring adherence to schedules and performance standards.
- Assist in planning and implementing operational strategies, process improvements, and optimization initiatives to enhance overall efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor operational processes to ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments, external clients, and vendor partners to ensure timely execution of tasks, issue resolution, and smooth service delivery.
- Support resource planning activities, including manpower deployment, asset utilization, and operational scheduling.
- Assist in tracking budgets, monitoring operational expenses, and supporting cost-control measures to improve financial efficiency.
- Act as a coordination point between multiple departments to ensure seamless communication, workflow alignment, and issue resolution.
- Identify operational risks and challenges and contribute to problem-solving and corrective action plans.
- Prepare operational reports, performance updates, and documentation to support management decision-making.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in operations management, logistics operations, transportation management, or a related operational role.
- Prior experience working with field-level or blue-collar workforce is highly desirable.
- Exposure to logistics, transportation, supply chain, or fleet-based operations will be an added advantage.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team supervision capabilities with the ability to manage diverse operational teams.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities.
- Working knowledge of operational compliance, SOPs, and regulatory standards.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Proficiency in basic reporting, documentation, and operational tracking tools.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- Additional certifications in operations, logistics, or supply chain management will be considered a plus.
