- 8-10 years of experience in operations and supply chain management

- Experience in transporter onboarding and vendor management

- Hands-on experience in freight operations (FTL ~90% and PTL ~10%)

- Experience in handling both supplier and buyer-side coordination

- Managed post-order operations and end-to-end Order-to-Delivery (O2D)

- Exposure to pan-India supply chain operations

- Experience in handling both solid and liquid cargo movement

- Background in B2B, 3PL, and e-commerce logistics

- Strong focus on timely delivery, cost optimization, and operational efficiency

- Transit distance of shipments handled - PAN India (No regional experts)

- Team or department leadership experience required

- Back office support for both the sales and purchase side of the business to handle all post order issues and processes.

- Ability to handle all kinds of logistics in the Industrial raw material distribution segment.

We are seeking an experienced Operations Lead to manage end-to-end logistics and freight operations across India. This role focuses on Full Truck Load (FTL ~90%) and Part Truck Load (PTL ~10%) shipments ranging from 500 kg to 500 MT, covering both solid and liquid cargo. The candidate will lead transporter onboarding, vendor management, and post-order coordination for both supplier and buyer sides, ensuring timely delivery, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Freight & Transport Operations: Manage FTL and PTL shipments (500 kg-500 MT), ensuring timely placement of vehicles and on-time delivery across Pan-India network.

- Vendor & Transporter Management: Onboard, negotiate, and manage performance of transporters and 3PL partners. Handle contracts, rate negotiations, and SLA compliance.

- End-to-End Order-to-Delivery (O2D): Oversee post-order processes including order allocation, dispatch documentation, in-transit tracking, delivery confirmation, and payment reconciliation.

- Back Office Support: Coordinate with sales and purchase teams to resolve all post-order issues, manage documentation (invoices, e-way bills, PODs), and ensure seamless communication between internal stakeholders and external partners.

- Cost Optimization: Drive cost-saving initiatives through route planning, load optimization, freight negotiation, and process improvements.

- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of operations executives and coordinate with warehouse, finance, and customer service teams.

- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with GST, e-way bill regulations, and safety standards. Prepare MIS reports on KPIs - OTD, freight cost, vendor performance, etc.

Key Requirements (Must-Have):

- Cargo Types Solid + Liquid (tanker/ISO tank experience preferred)

- Geographic Scope Pan-India operations (no regional-only candidates)

- Shipment Range 500 kg to 500 MT

- Vendor Management Transporter onboarding, rate negotiation, performance monitoring

- Industry Context B2B, 3PL, or industrial raw material distribution

- Team Leadership Proven experience leading a team

- Back Office Support Experience handling post-order processes for both sales and purchase sides

- Key KPIs On-time delivery, cost optimization, operational efficiency
