Operations Head - Repair & Supply Chain

What You'll Do:

- Provide daily hands-on operational leadership to the team, driving efficiency and ensuring high-quality service delivery across all departments.

- Determine work requirements and allocate duties to Team Leaders and employees.

- Implement and monitor improvements to Repair Centre processes and facilities.

- Minimise operational costs by analysing and executing process improvements to achieve greater efficiency.

- Source and lead digital solutions to support continuous improvement initiatives.

- Ensure a safe work environment and lead all Work Health & Safety (WHS) initiatives.

- Monitor and manage service levels to drive ongoing performance improvement.

- Manage efficient and productive process flows in Service Repair operations.

- Address performance matters within Service Repair teams and ensure clear feedback and accountability.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments and project teams to implement new initiatives.

- Support and educate employees on new systems and process changes.

- Drive innovation and operational excellence across the Repair Services team and warehouse operations.

- Lead, coach, and mentor team members to build a high-performance culture focused on engagement and accountability.

- Ensure adherence to all Quality Management System procedures and policies.

- Maintain full risk management and compliance oversight, conducting risk assessments and ensuring audit readiness.

- Manage budgets and forecasts, balancing cost control with service quality and long-term strategic planning.

- Ensure customer-centric operations that exceed client expectations and drive cross-department collaboration.

What You Bring:

- 10+ years of experience in a repair, warehousing, distribution , repair, or logistics environment.

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with proven experience leading teams and influencing across functions.

- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and make decisions independently while maintaining accountability.

- Excellent communication skills and a track record of effective stakeholder engagement.

- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP principles.

- Strong analytical and process management skills, with expertise in reporting and performance tracking.

- Technical understanding of client products or similar electronic devices, and competence in repair processes and terminology.

- Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) principles and legislation.

- Understanding of BIS and EPR processes, including applications, renewals, and annual filings.

- Qualification in Warehouse or Technical Service Centre Management, or tertiary studies in business (highly regarded).

- Experience in driving continuous improvement, innovation, and team engagement.
