- Operations Manager for its Global Finance Centre (GFC) in Bangalore to lead R2R processes with expertise in foreign exchange (Fx) and balance sheet reconciliations. This role drives efficient financial operations in the rail industry's dynamic environment, supporting month-end closes and process standardization across regions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end R2R operations cost-effectively, including GL accounting, period closes, and financial reporting while meeting SLAs and quality standards.

- Drive balance sheet reconciliations, Forex transactions (derivatives, gains/losses), and improvements per reconciliation policy.

Position Overview:

- Operations Manager for Record to Report (R2R) processes, with a focus on foreign exchange (Fx) operations and balance sheet reconciliations. This role ensures accurate financial recording, reporting, and compliance in a high-volume finance shared services environment. You will lead a team to deliver timely month-end closes and support strategic financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee end-to-end R2R processes, including transaction recording, general ledger management, accruals, fixed assets (depreciation/amortization), and financial consolidation.

- Manage balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and Fx-related adjustments to ensure accuracy and identify variances.

- Lead month-end and year-end activities: journal entries, trial balance reviews, inventory adjustments, and preparation of financial statements compliant with IFRS/GAAP and SOX controls.

- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and data governance for master data integrity in ERP systems like SAP/Oracle.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and auditors; provide reporting, escalations handling, and training for team compliance.
