Job Overview

The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating both factory production (Hosur & Sira) and project site erection & commissioning activities. This role requires maintaining a seamless balance between production output and project execution to ensure that client deliverables are met on time, within budget and to the highest quality and safety standards.

The Operations Manager will serve as a vital link between production teams, project execution teams, and senior management, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.

Responsibilities

1. Strategic growth & leadership:

- Develop and implement a long-term plan to grow the precast division, including market expansion and adoption of new technologies.

- Analyze industry trends and financial opportunities to set achievable goals.

- Clearly communicate the strategy to the team and delegate tasks effectively.

- Build strategic alliances with business partners to support company growth and operational efficiency.

- Foster long-term relationships with customers, suppliers, and community partners, representing the company at industry events.

- Build a positive work culture that motivates employees to achieve high standards.

2. Operational management:

- Oversee daily production operations including scheduling, quality control and cost management.

- Identify and solve process issues to improve workflow and efficiency.

- Implement and utilize data driven decision-making.

- Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, forecasting and auditing of all operations.

- Identify and address operational bottlenecks, driving improvements and cost reduction.

- Optimize the use of time and team resources while reducing operating costs.

- Oversee and manage manpower requirements for all departments.

3. Team & stakeholder management:

- Provide direct supervision and mentorship to department heads and key staff.

- Build a positive work culture that motivates employees to achieve high standards.

- Foster long-term relationships with customers, suppliers, and community partners, representing the company at industry events.

4. Quality, safety & compliance:

- Ensure production meets or exceeds quality standards, client requirements and safety regulations.

- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and conduct regular quality audits.

5. Technology & innovation:

- Encourage the adoption of modern technologies to improve production processes and product quality.

- Stay updated with industry trends and integrate best practices into daily operations.
