We now need a high-ownership Operations Head who can take charge, fix discipline, drive performance, and build a scalable execution engine.
Role Summary:
The Operations Manager / Head will lead the recruitment operations team, ensure daily discipline & productivity, build SOPs, dashboards, and performance scorecards, and drive closures & revenue outcomes. This role requires aggressive execution, accountability mindset, and strong team control NOT a comfort-zone manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Discipline:
- Lead, supervise & energize a team of 100+ HR Recruiters, BD team & Support Staff
- Implement strict punctuality, daily dashboards, reporting & discipline protocols
- Set KPI targets for team: calls, submissions, follow-ups, interviews, closures
Operational Ownership:
- Drive end-to-end hiring operations position intake, sourcing, follow-up, interviews, offer rollouts
- Reduce TAT (turn-around time) & increase closure percentage
- Build structured SOPs across hiring, BD, client onboarding, candidate follow-ups
Performance & Revenue Impact:
- Directly influence recruitment closures, subscription sales & revenue
- Identify blockers create performance improvement plans (PIP) & replace low-performers
- Improve RTJ (Ready-to-Join Pool) & ensure re-verification pipeline
Processes, Reporting & Automation:
- Create daily / weekly / monthly reports for founders
- Ensure recruiters use CRM/ATS tools properly & maintain complete logs
- Introduce automation, reminders, dashboards & workflows for smooth scale-up
Client Handling:
- Coordinate with major brand clients (Aakash, Allen, PW, Byjus, Schools, Coaching Chains)
- Ensure feedback, interview coordination & offer letter follow-up
- Manage escalations, service quality & SLA compliance
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 5-10 years proven experience in Operations / Recruitment Operations / Ed-Tech / Large-Team Management
- Strong command & voice power able to create accountability & control
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure startup environment
- Aggressive & execution-focused not just a planner
- Thinks in dashboards, numbers & KPIs
- Ability to hire, train, terminate & rebuild teams if required
- Strong communication & Hindi-English fluency (Team discipline + Client calls)
