In 2021, Open Secret expanded its focus to become a one-stop platform for all things unjunked to cater to the consumer desire for 'better-for-you' food and beverage options across the day. Working closely with nutritionists and food experts, Open Secret offers a thoughtfully curated range of local and Un-Junked brands and products which are available across various channels.
About the CEO and Co-Founder:
Ahana Gautam is an experienced operator with a passion to build and grow the biggest consumer brands in India. She has a B.Tech from IIT Bombay and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She started her career at P&G where she worked across multiple functions - supply chain, finance and marketing. Ahana grew her passion for food brands at General Mills in the US where she launched natural and organic products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute offline sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers. Identify new retail opportunities and expand market presence in assigned territories.
2. Monitor sales performance, prepare reports, and suggest actionable insights for growth.
3. Train and guide sales staff or field teams to improve execution and performance. Coordinate with marketing and supply chain teams to ensure smooth product availability.
Qualifications & Skills:
1. Proven 2-3 Years of experience in offline sales, retail, or FMCG distribution.
2. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
3. Ability to analyze sales data and make strategic decisions.
4. Target-driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
5. Understanding of the retail and FMCG ecosystem is a plus.
