
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Resident Construction Manager with a strong Civil Engineering background and extensive experience in composite industrial projects, including Civil, Structural, Mechanical, and Piping works. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading end-to-end site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complete site execution for industrial EPC projects.
- Coordinate and supervise Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping, and Equipment Erection activities.
- Develop construction strategies, execution plans, and project schedules.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of milestones.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, planning, QA/QC, safety, subcontractors, and clients.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, engineering drawings, and contract requirements.
- Drive productivity while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
- Manage construction resources, manpower, equipment, and subcontractors effectively.
- Identify project risks, resolve technical issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct regular progress review meetings with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, HSE policies, and quality management systems.
- Review project reports, billing progress, cost control, and resource utilization.
- Mentor site engineers and construction teams to achieve project objectives.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong expertise in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, and Piping construction for industrial projects.
- Proven experience in managing composite EPC projects from initiation to commissioning.
- Excellent leadership, decision-making, and team management abilities.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project planning, and execution.
- Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and client representatives.
- Good understanding of safety regulations, QA/QC procedures, and contractual requirements.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Eligibility Criteria:
- B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
- 12+ years of experience in industrial construction projects.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, Steel, Fertilizer, or other large EPC projects is preferred.
- Must have handled composite projects involving Civil, Structural, Mechanical, and Piping disciplines.
- Willingness to travel and work at project sites across India.
