Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented CA Fresher who has completed Articleship and is interested in building a career in the Oil & Gas EPC sector. The candidate will support finance, project accounting, taxation, and compliance activities related to engineering and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

Financial & Project Accounting

- Assist in project accounting and cost tracking for EPC contracts.

- Monitor project budgets, cost allocations, and profitability analysis.

- Preparation of financial statements and monthly MIS reports.

- Support revenue recognition for long-term EPC contracts.

Compliance & Taxation

- Assist in GST compliance, TDS filings, and tax reconciliations.

- Support statutory audit, internal audit, and tax audit processes.

- Ensure compliance with Indian accounting and regulatory requirements.

Project Finance Support

- Monitor project cash flows and working capital requirements.

- Support contract review for financial and tax implications.

- Coordinate with project managers, procurement teams, and finance departments.

Reporting & Analysis

- Prepare variance analysis for project costs vs budget.

- Assist in financial forecasting and budgeting.

- Maintain documentation for audit and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of accounting, taxation, and financial reporting.

- Knowledge of project accounting or construction accounting preferred.

- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Tally).

- Analytical thinking and attention to detail.

- Ability to work with cross-functional project teams.

Preferred Articleship Exposure

- Audit or taxation experience with infrastructure, EPC, or construction companies.

- Exposure to project-based accounting and contract accounting.
