Job Title: Manager Financial Reporting (US Subsidiary)


Location: India (Initial 36 months) USA (Onsite Transition)


Department: Finance


Reporting To: Global Financial reporting head


Role Overview:


We are looking for a high-impact Chartered Accountant (24 years PQE) to lead financial reporting and audit oversight for our US subsidiary. The role will initially be based in India for transition and system alignment, followed by relocation to the United States within 36 months.


This position requires hands-on ownership of US entity accounting, strong audit exposure, SAP expertise, and experience managing reporting for organizations with turnover exceeding INR 1,000 Crore.


The role offers global exposure and a fast-track pathway into international finance leadership.


Key Responsibilities:


1. US Subsidiary Accounting & Reporting


- Manage end-to-end accounting of the US subsidiary.


- Ensure compliance with US GAAP (knowledge preferred; ability to adapt mandatory).


- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.


- Prepare consolidated financial statements and intercompany reconciliations.


- Coordinate with US-based advisors, CPA firms, and regulatory authorities.


- Drive financial accuracy, reporting discipline, and audit readiness.


2. Financial Reporting & Governance


- Lead preparation of financial statements in compliance with Ind AS / Companies Act / US GAAP (as applicable).


- Manage board-level MIS, performance dashboards, and variance analysis.


- Strengthen internal financial controls (IFC) and documentation.


- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and Ind AS.


3. Audit Management


- Lead statutory, internal, and tax audit processes.


- Act as primary SPOC for auditors (India & US).


- Ensure timely audit closure and resolution of observations.


- Implement robust risk mitigation frameworks.


4. SAP & Systems


- Mandatory hands-on experience in NetSuite.


- Ensure integrity of financial data in NetSuite.


- Drive automation and reporting optimization.


- Support ERP transitions and system enhancements (if applicable).


Candidate Profile:


- Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA mandatory)


- Experience: 2 TO 4 years PQE


- Experience handling companies with turnover > INR 1,000 Crore


- Strong financial reporting & audit exposure


- SAP/NetSuite FICO hands-on experience (non-negotiable)


- Strong understanding of internal controls


- Willingness and eligibility to relocate to USA within 36 months


Preferred Experience:


- Exposure to US GAAP / US subsidiary accounting


- Experience in listed or large corporate setups


- Big 4 or large audit firm background


- Experience managing intercompany transactions
