Onemarket Solutions - Manager - Fund Accountant

About the Role:

We're hiring a Fund Accountant to be embedded as a dedicated operator inside one of our US-based private equity / real estate clients. You won't be a vendor on the outside - you'll function as part of their internal finance team, owning fund-level books, investor reporting, and close cycles end-to-end.

What You'll Own:

- Maintain books for multiple funds, SPVs, and GP/LP entities (Yardi, Investran, AppFolio, or client-specific stack)

- Process capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations; reconcile against LPA terms

- Prepare quarterly NAV calculations, waterfall computations, and management fee accruals

- Own monthly and quarterly close - drive the cycle from 15+ days down to under a week

- Prepare investor reports, capital account statements, and K-1 supporting schedules

- Coordinate with fund admins, auditors (Big 4 / regional), and tax preparers

- Bank reconciliations, intercompany entries, and consolidation across fund structures

- Build and maintain financial models, cash flow forecasts, and waterfall schedules in Excel

What We're Looking For:

- CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent (qualified, not pursuing)

- 5-10 years in fund accounting - PE, real estate, hedge fund, or fund admin (Citco, SS&C, Apex, Gen II, Standish, etc.)

- Hands-on with at least one fund accounting system (Investran, Allvue, eFront, Yardi Investment Suite, AppFolio Investment Manager)

- Strong grasp of US GAAP, fair value accounting, and partnership accounting (waterfalls, carried interest, preferred returns)

- Advanced Excel - pivot tables, INDEX/MATCH, financial modeling are non-negotiable

- Comfortable working US hours (overlap with EST/PST)

- Direct, written-first communicator - you'll be on Slack and email with US partners daily

Bonus Points:

- Experience with real estate fund accounting (acquisition/disposition entries, JV accounting, asset-level reporting)

- Exposure to Yardi Voyager, AppFolio, or Juniper Square
