Role Overview:
We are seeking a results-oriented Assistant Sales Manager to join our high-performing sales leadership team in Bengaluru. This strategic role demands a strong focus on driving business growth, mentoring front-line sales executives, and ensuring consistent delivery of sales excellence. The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in life insurance sales, customer engagement, and team leadership to elevate OneInsure's presence in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership & Target Achievement:
- Drive regional sales performance in line with company growth objectives
- Set and monitor KPIs for the sales team and ensure consistent achievement of monthly and quarterly targets
Team Development & Coaching:
- Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of Insurance Sales Executives
- Conduct regular performance reviews and field training to enhance capabilities and productivity
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction, policy renewals, and cross-selling opportunities
- Lead the resolution of escalated customer concerns to ensure retention and loyalty
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Translate business goals into actionable sales plans and local campaigns
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and service teams to deliver a seamless customer experience
Compliance & Process Adherence:
- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal compliance processes
- Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and documentation using CRM tools and analytics platforms
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in life insurance sales with demonstrated success in target achievement and team handling
- Strong understanding of insurance products, industry regulations, and customer lifecycle
- Excellent people management, communication, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in sales analytics, CRM platforms, and reporting tools
- Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred)
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Bengaluru
