Role Overview
As an Area Manager (Direct Marketing), you will be responsible for driving sales growth, operational efficiency, and customer success across multiple branches.
You will manage Branch Managers, oversee regional performance, and implement digital-first strategies to achieve business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Leadership & Strategy
- Own P&L responsibility for multiple branches within the region.
- Design and execute regional sales & marketing strategies.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking and market mapping for expansion.
Revenue Growth & Market Penetration
- Drive new business acquisition and revenue growth across branches.
- Expand presence in untapped markets using direct and digital marketing channels.
- Monitor KPIs for each branch and align strategies accordingly.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead and mentor Branch Managers & Relationship Managers.
- Build a high-performance culture through structured training and coaching.
- Drive accountability through regular performance reviews and dashboards.
Digital Transformation & Data-Driven Execution
- Ensure adoption of CRM, analytics dashboards, and OneInsures digital tools.
- Use customer insights to shape regional campaigns and engagement.
- Champion the use of AI-driven lead management and customer servicing tools.
Operational Excellence & Compliance
- Ensure regulatory compliance across all branches.
- Standardize processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational risks.
- Ensure branches consistently meet NPS benchmarks and service standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in Insurance/BFSI, with at least 4+ years in a regional/area leadership role.
- Proven ability to manage multi-branch operations with P&L ownership.
- Strong expertise in sales strategy, channel expansion, and market development.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Data-driven decision-making with strong analytical acumen.
- Bachelors degree required; MBA strongly preferred
