
About the Role:
As a User Researcher, you will partner with cross-functional teams-designers, product managers, engineers, data scientists, and marketers-to deeply understand our users' needs and behaviors. Your research will directly shape product strategy, design, and execution, ensuring intuitive, accessible, and seamless experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute research studies: Conduct qualitative (field observations, interviews, usability testing) and quantitative (surveys, metrics analysis) research across current and future products.
- Uncover opportunities: Identify unmet needs and inform product vision, roadmap, and strategy through creative research methods and co-design sessions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Ensure research insights are integrated into design, product, and business decisions, providing a holistic view of our users.
- Communicate insights effectively: Share findings through impactful storytelling-presentations, reports, and workshops-that drive action.
- Adapt methodologies: Innovate and tailor research approaches to meet the fast-paced demands of product development.
- Mentor & guide: Support and coach fellow stakeholders, fostering a culture of empathy and user-centric design across the organization.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in the technology industry conducting User research, with a proven track record of driving tangible outcomes with product and design teams.
- Educational qualification that is either an advanced degree in Psychology, User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, Anthropology, Social sciences or related field, with significant industry experience.
- Strong understanding of research methodologies, their pros/ cons and their application during different phases of product development.
- Ability to quickly and effectively present research results.
- Ability to perform all research-related tasks including research, planning, evaluating, and iteration.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and act as a strategic partner in product and design decisions.
- Experience with remote testing tools.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with quantitative research involving inferential statistics, metric analysis.
- Designing user experiences, knowledge of UI design principles, ability to prototype.
- Ability to fluently communicate in multiple Indian languages and English.
- Previous experience identifying, onboarding, and managing external research, translation, transcription, and tools vendors.
