Job description :
- Rule configuration, tuning, and optimization of the Transaction Monitoring System (TMS) for PPI wallet transactions, UPI P2P/P2M flows, BBPS bill payments, and inward/outward remittances.
- Design and maintain a comprehensive library of AML detection scenarios and typologies specific to digital payments - including smurfing, layering via UPI, structuring of PPI loads, round-tripping, mule account networks, and dormant account reactivation abuse.

- Assess and recommend integration of AI/ML-based anomaly detection tools to supplement rule-based TMS.
- Prepare and file Non-Profit Organisation Transaction Reports (NTRs) and Counterfeit Currency Reports (CCRs) as applicable.
- Respond to FIU-IND and law enforcement agency (LEA) requests for information (RFIs); manage freeze/seizure orders under PMLA.
- Support RBI inspection and off-site monitoring queries; prepare AML-related inputs for RBI annual inspection.
- Compile and submit NPCI-mandated fraud and AML MIS reports within prescribed timelines.
- Maintain a regulatory reporting calendar and evidence register for all AML filings.
- Prepare quarterly AML compliance reports for the Board Risk & Compliance Committee (BRCC).
- Design and deliver AML awareness training for customer-facing staff, operations, technology, and product teams; maintain training completion records.
- Act as primary liaison for internal and external AML audits; manage findings, track remediation, and submit evidence to audit committee.
- Stay current on FATF recommendations and industry typology reports; incorporate learnings into the programme.
