About the Role:
The Director - Regulatory Compliance - Zaakpay will lead the compliance framework of the organization, ensuring adherence to RBI regulations, timely regulatory reporting, and successful audit management. The role involves framing policies/SOPs, overseeing customer grievance redressal, and liaising with regulators and law enforcement agencies. The incumbent will drive process improvements, safeguard compliance standards, and support business teams in meeting all legal and regulatory obligations.
Responsibilities:
- To monitor the compliance framework of the Company and to ensure that all the relevant circulars/guidelines issued by the RBI are being complied with.
- Managing Regulatory reporting as applicable to the Fintech/NBFC/Bank and to ensure timely submission of the same.
- Tracking Regulatory circulars/guidelines & implementing in day-to-day processes.
- Managing Regulatory audits and coordinating with various teams for the same.
- Framing various Policies/SOP/Guidelines in accordance with the latest Regulatory guidelines.
- Support the business in complying with the various laws and regulations applicable to the Business in-line.
- Manage relationships and outreach efforts with regulators.
- Monitor the handling of Customer Grievances both in quantitative and qualitative aspects.
- Oversee 24/7 coordination with law enforcement agencies while working with internal teams to respond to legal requests/requisitions in the given TAT.
- Maintain high standards of judgment while handling numerous time-sensitive escalations with competing priorities.
- Work and coordinate with relevant teams for process improvement action wherever service quality / skill gaps have been noticed through Process Transformation on an ongoing basis.
Requirements:
- University degree in Law or a related field (post-graduate education with a focus on compliance and risk management is preferred)
- 12+ years of experience in a senior compliance management role
- Superior knowledge of Fintech regulations and corporate procedures for maintaining compliance
- Proficiency in using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Excellent project management and leadership skills - Strong organizational skills
