Business Development Manager


Core Responsibilities:

Products Expertise:

- Maintain deep knowledge of Omniscience's offerings for strategic alignment.

- Develop a deep understanding of Omniscience's product suite, ensuring alignment with the firm's investment strategies.

- Stay up to date with new product features, updates, and enhancements to effectively position them in the market.

- Serve as the internal expert on Omniscience offerings, providing guidance to teams and clients on product applications and benefits.

Cross-Team Coordination:

- Collaborate closely with marketing and sales team to create and refine investment-related materials, ensuring consistency in messaging.

- Align product messaging with firm strategy, making sure all communications are accurate and impactful.

Factsheet Development:

- Work with sales and marketing teams to generate comprehensive investment factsheets that provide clear, data-driven insights.

- Ensure accuracy in performance metrics, product details, and key market indicators in the factsheets.

- Oversee the periodic update and distribution of factsheets to reflect current market conditions and product changes.

Material Preparation & Distribution:

- Ensure timely creation and distribution of marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, factsheets, and digital content.

- Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to ensure all materials are tailored for distributors and clients, keeping them informed about product offerings.

- Review content to ensure compliance with industry regulations and guidelines before release.

Timely Advertisement Approvals:

- Ensure all advertisements and promotional materials meet BSE compliance requirements, submitting them in accordance with regulatory timelines.

- Work with compliance teams to address any concerns or modifications needed for approval.

- Monitor approval timelines to ensure all advertising campaigns run smoothly without delays.

Client & Distributor Engagement:

- Build and nurture strong relationships with distributors and clients through proactive communication and engagement initiatives.

- Develop and deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients, helping them understand investment opportunities.

- Address client and distributor inquiries efficiently, ensuring they have all necessary information to make informed decisions.

Sales Support & Calling:

- Conduct targeted sales calls to engage distributors and potential clients, discussing product offerings and investment strategies.

- Provide product insights during sales discussions, ensuring stakeholders understand the benefits and key differentiators of Omniscience products.

- Support the sales team in closing deals by providing detailed product knowledge and responding to client queries.

Market Analysis:

- Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry shifts to refine product positioning.

- Identify emerging opportunities and threats, offering strategic recommendations for product adjustments or promotional campaigns.

- Utilize data-driven insights to enhance the firm's competitive edge in investment advisory.

Job Requirements:

- Masters's degree in finance, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (NISM/CWM/CFP) is a plus.

- Understanding of financial markets, financial products and services.

- Experience in product management within financial services or investment advisory.

- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with a proactive approach to client interaction.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record of building and maintaining partner relationships.

- Results-driven, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving sales targets. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

- Candidates from NISM and BSE institute will be preferred.
