Key Responsibilities:
- Data Exploration & Strategy: Mine and analyze data from company databases (BigQuery) to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques, and business strategies.
- Model Development: Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets (supervised/unsupervised learning, NLP, computer vision, etc.).
- GCP Implementation: Utilize Vertex AI for training and deploying models at scale.
- Leverage Dataflow or Dataproc for large-scale data processing.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
- Work closely with Data Engineers to ensure data quality and pipeline efficiency.
- A/B Testing: Design and execute A/B testing frameworks to evaluate model performance and product changes.

Required Technical Skills:
- Programming: Mastery of Python (Scikit-Learn, Pandas, NumPy) and/or R.
- SQL Mastery: Advanced SQL skills, specifically optimized for BigQuery (using standard SQL and ML functions).
- GCP Ecosystem:
1. Vertex AI (AutoML, Training, Pipelines, and Model Registry).
2. BigQuery ML for quick-to-market predictive modeling.
3. Cloud Storage and Cloud Functions for event-driven data tasks.
- MLOps: Familiarity with CI/CD for machine learning (Kubeflow or Vertex AI Pipelines).
- Deep Learning: Experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch (bonus if you've used Google's TPU infrastructure).
