Job Title: Director - Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)

Location: Chennai/Bangalore

Experience Required: Minimum 20+ years in US Healthcare RCM

Reporting To: AVP operations (Delivery Unit Head)

Role Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Director - Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) to lead end-to-end RCM operations. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the full RCM lifecycle-from patient registration to final reimbursement-ensuring delivery excellence, compliance, client satisfaction, and operational profitability. The ideal candidate will bring deep domain knowledge, strong team leadership capabilities, and experience managing large-scale healthcare operations..

Key Responsibilities:

1. People Leadership & Team Management

- Lead and manage large end-to-end RCM delivery teams including billing, coding, and AR functions (Contingency)

- Foster a high-performance culture through effective coaching, mentoring, and talent development.

- Ensure proper workforce planning, resource allocation, and succession planning across teams.

- Drive employee engagement, retention, and performance management in alignment with organizational goals.

2. Operational Excellence

- Own delivery KPIs, including productivity, quality, turnaround time, and client-defined SLAs.

- Streamline workflows and implement best practices to drive continuous operational improvement.

- Review daily, weekly, and monthly operational dashboards; identify and resolve bottlenecks.

3. Client & Stakeholder Management

- Act as the senior point of contact for client leadership, ensuring timely issue resolution and overall satisfaction.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Sales, HR, Finance, and IT to support service delivery and transformation.

- Support new client transitions and process migrations ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.

4. Financial & Business Management

- Manage P&L for the assigned business unit, ensuring revenue growth, margin improvement, and cost optimization.

- Forecast resource needs, budget allocation, and capacity planning to meet business demands.

5. Compliance & Quality Assurance

- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA, client compliance protocols, and internal audit requirements.

- Drive initiatives to improve accuracy, reduce denials, and enhance first-pass resolution rates.

Educational Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or a related field (mandatory)

- Master's Degree (MBA/MHA) preferred

- Certifications in RCM, CPC, CPAR, or Lean Six Sigma will be an added advantage

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Proven experience managing large teams (500+ FTEs) in a multi-location/global delivery environment

- Deep expertise in US Healthcare RCM including Billing, Coding, and AR

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with CXO-level clients and internal stakeholders

- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

- Proficiency in RCM tools and reporting systems

- Strong project and change management experience
