Role Overview:
The Associate Vice President - Operations (Hospital RCM / Facility Billing) will spearhead the operational delivery for key hospital and facility billing clients. This role involves direct oversight of large teams, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met or exceeded, driving process improvements, and fostering strong client relationships.
The AVP will collaborate closely with client leadership, internal stakeholders across departments, and the operations team to optimize performance, identify growth opportunities, and maintain the highest standards of quality and compliance. This position directly impacts client satisfaction, revenue generation, and the overall success of Omega Healthcare's hospital RCM business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage large operations teams responsible for hospital and facility billing processes, ensuring efficient and accurate execution.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service quality for assigned clients.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and SLAs, proactively identifying and addressing any performance gaps to ensure client satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client leadership, serving as a trusted advisor and point of escalation for operational issues.
- Drive process improvement initiatives, leveraging technology and best practices to optimize workflows and enhance productivity.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and industry standards, including HIPAA and other relevant guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, client services, and technology teams, to support business development and client retention efforts.
- Develop and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in hospital revenue cycle management (RCM) and facility billing processes.
- Proven ability to lead and manage large, geographically dispersed operations teams.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's degree preferred.
