About the job:
- Global Workforce Analytics and Planning is one of the key pillars within HR Transformation and Services mainly responsible for managing workforce analytics and planning globally.
- The purpose of the role is to act as technical analytics and data expert to HR and the business.
- Proactively developing insights which deliver business value, providing robust, outcome-focused analyses and the implementation of scalable products that enhance data-driven decision-making.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Workforce Analytics:
- Work on significant and unique issues where analysis of business situations or people data requires an evaluation of intangible variables and may impact future concepts, products or technologies.
- Identify the optimal sets of data, models, training, and testing techniques required for successful solution delivery on workforce analytics.
- Support workforce planning, forecasting, and talent analytics initiatives.
- Identify trends, patterns, and correlations in workforce data to provide insights and recommendations to HR and business leaders.
- Prepare and deliver regular and ad-hoc HR analytics reports for leadership and executives.
- Support HR Reporting and Data process governance initiatives with a focus on standardization and best practice sharing across key HR areas.
Collaboration and Tech Expertise:
- Work collaboratively with the broader HR function and business to enable them to effectively utilize workforce insights to drive higher workforce performance.
- Adding business value with comprehensive data on turnover, employee demographics, ability to make data supported decisions globally, etc.
- Act as subject matter expert for all HR planning and analytics, partnering closely with senior HR and business leaders to understand their business challenges and develop appropriate analytics solutions.
- Communicate complex findings and technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders through visualizations, presentations, and reports.
- Collaborate with IT and HR system administrators to optimize HR technology and reporting tools.
Analytics And Technology:
- Run, validate, and schedule SAP SuccessFactors reports using appropriate filters and runtime parameters.
- Ensure consistency, data quality, and timely delivery of scheduled outputs.
- Investigate the configuration of existing reporting assets across Table, Canvas, Story, and Advanced Reporting.
- Maintain clear documentation of logic, data sources, joins, permissions, and dependencies.
- Extend existing reports with new data fields, including cross-domain and compound objects.
- Refine filter logic, prompts, joins, and data-source relationships for improved accuracy and usability.
- Upgrade legacy reports to more scalable or performant frameworks when relevant.
- Translate complex business requirements into robust technical reporting specifications.
- Build new reports in SuccessFactors Reporting (Table/Canvas/Story/Advanced) ensuring full requirement coverage.
- Validate outputs with stakeholders and implement iterative refinements.
- Understand the OData API framework used by SuccessFactors and its relevance to reporting structures.
- Recognize how API endpoints map to reporting entities and support data extraction for downstream analytics.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure data consistency between in-application reports and OData-driven integrations.
- Advise business partners on reporting capabilities, constraints, and underlying data-model structures.
- Support downstream data usage in Excel, Power BI, SQL, and other analytics tools.
- Promote best practices for metadata, naming standards, and version control.
- Assist with audits of reporting access, Role-Based Permissions (RBP), and data governance controls.
- Ensure reports meet internal data privacy, retention, and access policies.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or related field.
Experience:
- At least 8 to 10 years of relevant working experience, ideally in workforce/HR/people analytics or any other business analytics area.
- About 3 to 5 years of Consulting experience is preferred.
- Strong presentation skills to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Design and create interactive, presentation-style reports using charts, visualizations, text, and images to analyze real-time, cross-suite HR data for Senior Leadership team and Stakeholders.
- Multi-tasking and operating effectively in a fast-paced, client-oriented environment.
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking, with a strong attention to detail.
- Working collaboratively in a matrix organization, managing multiple stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills, who showcases credibility and excels in a collaborative setting.
Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors Reporting (Table, Canvas, Story, and Advanced Reporting).
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Storytelling (Story Reports) is preferred.
- Good knowledge of GPDR law in the EU is an added advantage.
- Solid understanding of cross-domain data models, joins, and SuccessFactors schema behavior.
- Working knowledge of RBP structures and auditing practices.
- Proficiency with Excel; familiarity with SQL and Power BI is beneficial.
- Ability to translate functional needs into technical reporting solutions.
- Strong documentation and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
