Zonal Sales Manager - South
We are looking for a result-driven Zonal Sales Manager for the South region to manage and grow the classifieds business for our Cars Vertical.
This position reports to: National Sales Head, and be a part of one of the largest and fastest growing, tech-enabled used goods platform in India.
Primary Role : The individual will have the primary responsibility for managing the business, focusing both on Sales & Ops by growing Top Line & Bottom Line and taking care of P&L in the South region.
Team Size : Direct Team of RSMs and ASMs, supported by a team of 20+ SRM/RMs
What you will be doing:
- Build, Lead and manage the Sales team to achieve sales targets and reach as per the plan
- Work closely with the team to ensure best in class customer experience for the Region.
- Maintain healthy relations with dealers to ensure a Win Win strategy in the market-place
- Identify opportunities to grow the dealer base through referrals and other activation programs.
- Conduct Periodic review on the progress of business health metrics with the sales team
- Ensure timely recruitment and retention of right quality people
- Engage with the Top Customers in the Zone on a regular basis
- Carry out intensive field visits and interact with employees, dealers and end users
- Collect feedback wrt product, pricing, new product ideas, competition activities, schemes, etc.
- Review Employee/ Team performance on a regular basis
- Ensure business reviews are conducted in the zone as per the laid down process
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 10+ years of professional experience
- Preferably has an experience of 5+ years in leading the South region
- Strong experience in the domain of sales & ops managing scale
- Strong data interpretation and analytical skills
- Should have the experience of working with cross functional teams / stakeholders.
- Aptitude to work in a fast-paced org with active listening, negotiation and reasoning skills
- Proven leadership capability to build, lead, manage and groom teams
- The individual must have hands-on approach.
