Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Digital Ad Sales professional based out of Bengaluru to drive and grow our business in alignment with organizational goals.

The ideal candidate will manage Digital Ad Sales, establish strong relationships with digital agencies and clients, and consistently meet hard sales targets.

What you will do:

1. Ad Sales Management:

- Lead and manage Digital Ad Sales for the assigned categories in the West Region

- Independently drive and grow business for a set of clients or categories

- Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets

2. Client and Agency Relations:

- Build and maintain strong connections with digital agencies and clients.

- Prospect new clients and identify new sales opportunities

3. Solution Design:

- Translate brand briefs into effective, data-backed solutions

- Utilize knowledge of various platforms (display, networks, social, video, etc.) to design

comprehensive ad solutions

4. Market Analysis and Trends:

- Monitor competition and stay informed about new trends in the digital domain

- Use market insights to maintain a competitive edge and innovate ad sales strategies

5. Sales Skills:

- Demonstrate strong sales skills, including prospecting, pipeline management, closing, and negotiation

- Handle objections from clients and agencies, finding ways to keep conversations productive and ongoing

6. Industry Connects:

- Explicitly mention strong connections across Automotive, D2C, Consumer Durables, Government, and Real Estate verticals, as these are key growth categories for us

7. Consultative, Data-Driven Sales Approach:

- Emphasize consultative, data-backed selling focused on insights-led client engagement

- Highlight familiarity with analytics, campaign measurement, and digital performance metrics

to attract strategic, outcome-driven talent

8. Digital-First Experience:

- Prefer candidates from digital-first platforms or publishers with experience in solution-based selling and category ownership

9. Leadership Scope:

- Reinforce regional leadership experience, ideally covering South markets (Kerala, Tamil - Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh), along with strong cross-functional collaboration skills

Who were looking for:

- Should have a minimum of 12 years of experience in digital ad sales

- Ability to creatively translate brand briefs into actionable, data-supported solutions

- Consistently exceed sales goals and receive recognition for outstanding performance

- Strong inclination towards technology and familiarity with digital platforms

- Proficiency in using presentation tools like PowerPoint (PPT)

- Strong relationships within the Mumbai market

- Mature approach to handling objections and maintaining open client and agency conversations

- Effective communication and ability to work across various functions and levels

- Strong negotiation and closing skills
