OLX Group is seeking to hire an international tax manager to be responsible for all tax affairs of its operations in Asia and Middle East business operations. What responsibilities will you get when working with us? - Full tax oversight for operations across 10 different jurisdictions, with special emphasis on India, Philippines and MENA countries. - Manage the Corporate tax, withholding taxes and VAT planning and compliance routines. - Support implementation and adjustments to Transfer Pricing Model. - Review tax calculations performed by finance teams and external advisors. - Review current and deferred income tax provision. - Manage authority's audits and request as they happen. - Perform tax research, including potential modelling of proposed legislation and other matters impacting the company. - Manage third party tax consultants. - Assist in Global initiated tax projects as assigned.- - Assist in the due diligence process for potential acquisitions. - Review and provide inputs to the tax section of the customer/vendors contracts. What will you need to be successful in this role? - BA/BS degree in accounting. CPA and/or Masters in Tax . - A minimum of 9-12 years tax experience in Big 4 accounting firm or equivalent experience in a tax department of a large multi-national corporation. - Experience/Exposure with Transfer pricing, VAT and Corporate taxes across Africa/Middle East and/or Asia regions. - Must be a detail-oriented, organized thinker with strong accounting, analytical and computer skills. - Must be self started, proactive and results oriented. - Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing with all levels of personnel, across functions, organizations and with external contacts. - High degree of accuracy and proven ability to meet deadlines in a time-sensitive environment. - The individual must have the highest standards of integrity, business controls, and business practices. - Readiness to travel.
